INFORMATION ABOUT MATERIALS AND SERVICES CHARGES 2008
Fees have been set by the Governing Council at $210 for Materials & Service Charges, $25 for Swimming and $30 for Excursions.
The Government has set a standard Materials and Services fee for all Primary Schools of up to $185.00. School Councils can choose to set fees above this level. At Grange School we charge $210.00, to enable us to offer quality teaching programs and resources. The school relies on the payment of fees from parents to ensure we can maintain our high standards over and above that, which is provided by the government. GST for non-consumable items may be included in your child's initial stationery charge.
PAYMENT OF FEES
Payment can be made at the Front Office between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Parents can pay by Bankcard, Visa, MasterCard, Eftpos, Cheque or Cash.
Please note it is essential for all families to make payment or arrangements. Arrangements for payment take the form of a "Letter of Intent to Pay" that needs to be finalised by the end of term 2, 2008. This form is available at the front office if required. ALL FAMILIES NEED TO EITHER MAKE PAYMENT OR MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PAY, THIS INCLUDES ARRANGEMENTS FOR SCHOOL CARD.
COLLECTION OF OVERDUE FEES
Grange Schools will always seek to recover unpaid Materials and Services Charges through personal consultation and negotiation. Where this is not successful the school may engage an external debt collection agency to recover any Material and Services Charges which remain unpaid.
