This term in STEM, the junior primary students have had the pleasure of learning all about the magnificent Monarch butterflies. Miss Bev’s lessons had the students exploring the difference between non-living and living things and what basic needs they require to stay alive. Students happily observed the caterpillar’s unique features under a magnify glass and investigated the life cycle from egg to caterpillar and chrysalis.
These investigative lessons really allow the students to build a strong passion for science and their own learning.
