In room 30 this term, the students have been learning about the world of technology from years gone by.
The wonderful Prue, encouraged the children to play and explore different items such as landline telephones, record players, typewriters, walkmans, VCR and the humble polaroid camera. Some students couldn’t believe that you couldn’t walk around the house while on the phone or that typewriters didn’t correct our spelling mistakes for us.
The discussions lead to how far technology has come and what life would look like with further improvements in the future. Perhaps, we have some budding engineers on our hands that will be involved in such inventions.
Needless to say the students minds were blown, who would’ve thought you had to get up off the couch to change the T.V channel!!
