Congratulations to Room 8 who have won the Mathematical Association National First Prize for their “car wash” mathematics investigation. Chanel Polese did an outstanding job with her year 3 class, with support from our Mathematics Coach, Maureen Hegarty.
This highly competitive and sought-after award recognises this unit of work as the most outstanding of all year three entries across Australia. Well done and well deserved on a highly engaging unit of learning.
This award builds upon Chanel’s State award last year for another unit of mathematics learning.
